I have to admit, however, that we stick with canned pure pumpkin... I've never prepared a real pumpkin.KBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16885661679762446456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69084423516150771.post-60895282419223243032011-11-04T22:26:20.111-04:002011-11-04T22:26:20.111-04:00I use canned pumpkin in the homemade dog treats I ...I use canned pumpkin in the homemade dog treats I make for my guys and they each get a couple of tablespoons of it when I'm making the treats. I never thought of freezing the fresh pumpkins until last week when the lady at the store asked why I was buying canned pumpkin when they were almost giving away fresh ones. It sounds like a hard job though :).Angela J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06524863071938143619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69084423516150771.post-128914115276053802011-11-04T21:45:02.427-04:002011-11-04T21:45:02.427-04:00Love the pics! I have fed for gland issues (works great) and to regulate, but mostly as a healthy filler additive to his food to counteract the hungers he gets from his epilepsy meds. Our house is never without. It does work wonders, though! We learned after a lot of trial and error that one of ours simply couldn't tolerate lamb in his food, but the pumpkin helped us get to that point.houndstoothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159272473651561647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69084423516150771.post-57018329456722776862011-11-04T10:14:05.564-04:002011-11-04T10:14:05.564-04:00What a great idea, thanks for sharing!!What a great idea, thanks for sharing!!Golden Daily Scoophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08233130420240701706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69084423516150771.post-76582228618476291032011-11-04T10:06:25.627-04:002011-11-04T10:06:25.627-04:00Thanks for sharing, Brut!
