Alex-Still Running Free


Alex,

You were such an amazing dog.  I cried over your grave today as I noticed the ferns I planted from your favorite spot are really taking over.  Has it been 8 years already?  Seems like it was just yesterday your furry butt was here.  How I have missed you, yet your spirit lives on in each of the 24 Paws of Love.  But there will only ever be one Alex.

Run forever free, my boy.

    I feel the very same way about my big guy...I still think about him every single day. There will only be one Zippo. Thinking of your Alex today.

    Isn't it amazing that time does not erase the loss. Momma is so grateful that you can grieve and feel loss for that special someone but that it doesn't have to stop you from loving and forming a new different bond with a new baby that comes into your life.
